For Everything There Is A Time - Peace Not War!

The following verses are from Chapter 3 in the Book of Ecclesiastes and they are just a few the many profoundly true verses with in the Holy Bible that have influenced mankind throughout the history of Christendom.

I offer them to our politicians and to our nation in these uncertain times.

No One Can Determine the Right Time To Act

1  There is an appointed time for everything,

and a time for every affair under the heavens.

2 A time to give birth, and a time to die;

a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant.

3 A time to kill, and a time to heal;

a time to tear down, and a time to build.

4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh;

a time to mourn, and a time to dance.

5 A time to scatter stones, and a time to gather them;

a time to embrace, and a time to be far from embraces.

6 A time to seek, and a time to lose;

a time to keep, and a time to cast away.

7 A time to rend, and a time to sew;

a time to be silent, and a time to speak.

8 A time to love, and a time to hate;

a time of war, and a time of peace.

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8

THE BROWN ONES ARE MINE TOO!

The Devil and The Fool

I learned something important recently, and that is never trust a fool with a book of wisdom. He will attempt to twist it into something he can use for evil purposes.

Here's an interesting article Bob Deffinbaugh and is entitled "The Fool (Proverb 26:1-11)". It is part of the bible study series:  The Way of the Wise: Studies in the Book of Proverbs

“You can educate a fool, but you cannot make him think”

Celebrating Jesus - Gary Numan - My Jesus (extended version)

My Jesus is like a voice in the dark
My Jesus is like a lonely warning
My Jesus is like a fear that haunts me
My Jesus is like a tortured memory

I'm Praying for my soul

My Jesus is a collector of pain
My Jesus says
"Pain will prove you love me"
My Jesus is like a shadow crawling
My Jesus says
"Their screams will guide you to me"

I'm Praying for your soul
